My students need to be prepared for the new school year by having 6 toner cartridges for our classroom's copy machine.

My Students
Robert F. Kennedy had said, “There are those who look at things the way they are, and ask why... I dream of things that never were, and ask why not?” Even during these hard economic times, resources are limited but I believe there is a way for students to have a well-supplied classroom!
I am a 5th grade teacher and teach most of the subjects in my classroom.
My school is a Title I school which means many of our students come from low-income families and over 64% of them qualify for free lunch. Despite their financial income, I try my best to give the education my students deserve. My class is like every other student in the world - each and every one of them have the ability to thrive if they are given the necessary resources. One of those resources my class needs is toner.
My Project
Previous donors supplied a copier for our classroom, and my students in the past, present, and future are very grateful for it because time is valuable to us. The copier is a necessity in our classroom but it needs its companion - the toner. By having enough toner for this school year, my students are able to have the work they need to complete that day in a New York Minute. It will help me as teacher to fulfill their academic needs quickly and efficiently. The lesson can be changed instantly if they are having difficulty understanding it, or if they need to be challenged. My students will realize that time is precious and every minute of learning counts. Hardly any of it will be used for extra reviews because the copier ran out of toner.
Through your generous donation – any amount is appreciated – a smooth learning momentum will most likely happen for my 5th grade students.
My students are able to learn more from school because the necessary papers are in their hands since you provided the toner for our copy machine. New Yorker or not...you understand the value of a New York Minute in a classroom. For that, we thank you. =o)
