My students need a document camera. This document camera will aid students learning in the classroom, because they will be able to see skills being worked on in class up on the board.
My students are spectacular. I have been their teacher for the last year and a half and we have really become a 'family'. They continue to eagerly come to school every day to learn and interact with myself and each other.
My school is a Title 1 school and with that means our needs are somewhat different from that of other schools.
Although we have many, and different needs, it does not replace the love my students have for school.
My Project
The document camera that I am requesting for my students will help all students be able to see text we are using within the classroom. All students currently have access to view our smartboard, however, when reading and interacting with different text, or completing math, especially word problems, some students have a hard time seeing the work being modeled by me because I am often "in the way" of the work.
Students will be able to see "real time" work being interacted with and completed while being able to independently work at their own seats on new and previously taught skills.
