Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are lovers of learning. Learning ignites their minds and leave them wanting to know more every day.
These students come from a low socioeconomic background, and we are a Title I school, which means that students receive free or reduced-price lunch.
These students come to school every day with a desire to learn and grow. They have many different learning styles and need resources to help them reach their various learning goals.
Despite the challenges they face, they know that school is important and education is the key to success!
My Project
My students will be returning to school in September after being home since March, and I want to make sure their classroom is filled with colorful supplies and materials to make learning engaging and exciting. Students will use these materials to make sure we learn in a safe and organized way. Since we need to accommodate for social distancing, I will use these materials to make sure that every child has their own space for their own learning materials at their desks and tables. Students will love having their own labeled bins for their belongings.
