Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach students with special needs in grades Kindergarten to grade 2. My students come into class everyday and work as best as they can. Sensory time is a daily need for all of my students, especially my autistic students. I am requesting magnetic tiles, sensory and fidget, kinetic sand, Play Doh and collapsible ball toys. Having these items in my classroom will provide quality sensory time for all of my students. These items will help my students regulate their sensory needs, help reduce behavioral problems, and improve their academic performance.
