Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My kindergarten students brighten my day! They give so much love and just want to learn. Having available resources truly helps my students get the help in the classroom and helps them at home as well. Teaching in a low income area, most of my students have never been to a library or have an in home library. Building my classroom library helps my students read many diverse books and learn so much more.
My Project
It is my belief, as a teacher, that we give our students the best chances of learning and growing within our walls. By purchasing these materials, I will be able to differentiate my students learning by giving them more chances to read and explore the world around them, give them hands on science learning and by helping them have hands on activities and devices (the dry erase boards) to use as we learn.
The dry erase pockets and boards will help us learn to write in a different format than just paper to pencil.
They will be able to practice, make mistakes and learn from them as well. They will each have their own board and pocket to work with each day during our small groups.
