My students need 19 new Reading and Math centers and manipulatives such as books, a Literature-Based Rhyming Center, and Rainbow Sentence Strips.

My Students

Learning should be fun and exciting, but it is hard to have fun when you don't have the needed materials. Please help provide my wonderful students with some new materials.

I teach 19 fabulous Kindergarten students at a low income school.

Over 80% of our students are on free or reduced lunches. The children are very sweet, but some of them lack necessary skills for Kindergarten. These new centers and manipulatives can make their learning experience fun and enjoyable. Students learn more when they can have hands on experiences and they enjoy themselves.

My Project

My students are so sweet and giving, but they aren't used to others giving to them. These 19 learning tools will make my students incredibly happy! These centers and manipulatives will inspire the children to do their best. These materials will give them opportunities to learn more and succeed. The math materials will help my students with counting, one to one correspondence, addition, and number recognition. We will be able to use the reading materials to improve letter and sound recognition, rhyming, sight words, building 3 and 4 letter words, and reading simple words. These materials will help the students succeed in Kindergarten and get ready for first grade.

Please open up your hearts to help these wonderful students.

Let them know that school is important and people do care and want them to succeed. Give them the gift of knowledge that will stay with them forever.
