The LEGO Education kits have quickly become one of our most loved and engaging tools for learning. My students' eyes lit up the moment they saw the colorful pieces, and before I could even finish explaining, they were already collaborating by sorting bricks, building prototypes, and testing their first creations. Their excitement was contagious as they realized these weren't just toys. They were tools to help them think, problem-solve, and create like real engineers.\r\n\r\nOne of our first projects was designing and coding simple machines. Students worked in small teams to build working models that demonstrated cause and effect, motion, and energy transfer. Watching them troubleshoot together and celebrating when their gears finally turned or when their sensors responded just right was an incredible moment. These LEGO sets have given my students a new level of confidence in exploring STEM concepts and applying their learning through play and experimentation.\r\n\r\nNext, we'll be diving into a \"Design a Solution\" challenge where each team will identify a real-world problem and use LEGO Education to prototype their ideas. Thanks to you, my students now see themselves as inventors and engineers capable of building, testing, and improving their own ideas. Your support didn't just fund supplies; it built pathways for creativity, teamwork, and a lifelong love of STEM.","fullyFundedDate":1746786511935,"projectUrl":"project/building-a-future-in-stem-with-lego-educ/9151317/","projectTitle":"Building a Future in STEM with LEGO Education!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Flanagan","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7868828_orig.jpg?crop=2960,2960,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1704770719377","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/flanaganh"},{"teacherId":3593742,"projectId":9399366,"letterContent":"When my students saw me come in with two big boxes, they were SO excited!
