Learning Is Fun!

My students need math and ELA activities to work on during small group instruction and independent area time. We need dough mats, count and slide learning apples and more.

My Students

I have a wonderful and diverse group of students. I have over six different languages spoken in my classroom. Many of my students speak very little English and have just recently come to the United States as refugees from other countries. The diversity in the classroom can cause challenges for teaching, but it also makes my room unique and special! I wouldn't have it any other way!

My students love to learn, laugh and play!

They are curious, self-motivated learners who always want to know more!

My Project

I am requesting math and ELA activities and game for students to practice previously taught skills during small group instruction and independent learning areas.

We are requesting slide and reveal apples for counting and for learning letters and sounds.

We are also requesting a what’s the sound activity where student change letters to create new CVC words. The build a number house activity will allow students to add numbers together to create a total that completes a number house. The learn shapes dough mats will have students make shapes out of clay to create a missing piece to comple a picture.

All of these games and activities are fun, engaging, and hands on. My students will have so much fun playing and exploring these activities they will not even realize they are learning and practicing academic skills!
