My Students
My students love learning! Allowing them to learn at their own pace is so critical at this young age. With the many learning levels that we have in our class and the individual needs of every student it is my goal to do everything I can to meet all of their needs. The majority of students in my school receive free and reduced lunches and need assistance with having their needs met whether that be school supplies, meals, or clothing. I want to make our classroom environment one in which they can thrive, feel safe and secure and reach their full potential!
Providing access to technology and learning games will help prepare my students to be lifelong learners.
My Project
My students are active learners and love center time. Currently we do not have enough headphones for our classroom computers and iPads. When we use headphones it helps us to focus on our online learning resources and we can learn at our own pace and level.
We also need additional games and resources to use during our math and reading center time.
These games will help us sharpen up our reading and math skills so that we can be prepared for third grade. Sight words and comprehension skills are key to reading success and with these games we can have fun while we are learning.
