Help me give my students a classroom carpet, a set of lightweight foam seating and quiet chair leg caps in order to provide a comfortable, cozy, noice reduced classroom environment.
This school year, I want to bring an atmosphere of comfortability into my classroom. Having a rug placed in the classroom library with the flexible seating will make that space cozy and comfortable. The classroom library space also serves as our meeting area where reading and math instruction are explicitly taught as well. My fourth graders sit at desks and need chair leg caps to reduce the noise level that these chairs make because they distract students from paying attention.
Having furniture that is conducive to learning, allows students to delight in the space, while better engaging in conversations, which result in higher achievement.
