My Project

The requested items will enhance student learning by incorporating engaging and interactive activities. These said activities will include speaking and listening practice.

Newcomer English Learners (ELs) benefit from developing social skills that help them build meaningful connections, and playing games serves as an effective way to foster these interactions.

The goal of this project is to create a welcoming and enjoyable social environment that supports their adaptation and encourages new friendships. Having new games and comfortable chairs will hopefully entice them to engage in a social conversation. Each student brings a unique perspective, cultural backgrounds and valuable traditions, contributing to a diverse and inclusive community of learning. Sharing that background in a corner with a nice, comfy chair with games will open the door to new friendships.
