This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are the youngest of learners and they have been impacted by Covid by not having the early learning opportunities and social relationship building. This beautiful and realistic kitchen in our dramatic play area children will be excited to build relationships with peers and grow language and concepts of family, nutrition and self regulation by engaging in play with peers and adults, which are skills and experiences that our students are lacking due to COVID. We will use this kitchen for daily learning and play opportunities across the curriculum.
