My Students

Wow! I love my students because they bring out the best of me as a human being and as a teacher. Every day they inspire me to grow and learn with them.

My students are special because they are motivated and self-directed learners.

They are kind, creative, curious and hardworking. They accept challenges and are willing to try and learn from their mistakes. My students are explorers and love to discover ways to enhance and make their learning meaningful and fun at the same time. Their imagination and creativity amaze me on a daily basis.

Every morning when they walk into the classroom, they show enthusiasm and bring with them a positive attitude. They believe in themselves and they know they can do anything. I love their fearless attitude.

My Project

My students will benefit from flexible seating options which help them find spaces that make it conducive to their learning. No student is the same. They all learn differently and I hope that providing the choice in the way they can learn and make content meaningful to them will help them be successful. Classrooms like mine will allow students to create spaces they need to succeed, create and help them better themselves as learners while building their 21st-century skills which are collaboration and communication. When creating learning spaces, I want my student to experience spaces like they would in the real world. It is clear from research that creating a space that is flexible has an impact on student behavior and learning and I hope to accomplish this as their teacher.
