My Project

Having a colorful and inviting meeting area for my students is so important. We spend a lot of our day meeting on the floor. This carpet will provide the perfect spot for us to meet. I love that not only is it cozy looking, but it will also be a great way to learn about shapes and colors.

The children will be using the carpet frequently throught out our school day to engage in class discussions, read alouds, phonics, writing, math instruction and learning centers.

My kindergarteners are eager to learn and having a designated comfortable area to do it in is so important. This meeting area will provide the perfect spot to develop meaningful interactions and create a sense of community.
