This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This is my first year teaching and our classroom is still lacking some resources to create the best experience for the students during math and reading centers.

The students have been showing a great learning motivation through centers.

Students would be able to explore numbers and letters while they use learning resources. Students will be able to differentiate and recognize upper- and lower-case letters, patterns, and recognize numbers. My students love to work with blocks, magnets, art crafts and numbers. This got me thinking that I could combine their love for creative activities and take their interest and turn them into meaningful learning opportunities. What better way to combine both academics and fun than with things they love to work with. These magnetic tiles will be used in both math and reading lessons which will allow them to learn through a fun and engaging hands on experience.
