My Project
My room has always been an office, until COVID-19, where I am teaching small group interventions and after-school classes where students are sitting on the floor or sitting in chairs that don't fit the size of the tables.
I believe my students deserve more and want to be comfortable while building their foundational reading skills, that have suffered due to online learning, and collaborating on projects together.
I have worked to make my classroom more inviting. I believe having more seating choice will give them autonomy in the classroom and actively think about what environment they work best in.
