My Students

Our classroom is filled with a beautiful blend of students. Our students come from all over the world . Most of them are the first generation here in America . This puts a huge amount of pressure on our students who cannot receive any support for homework or studying at home because their parents do not speak English. We are also an ICT class which includes both general and special education students . Our students have a wide variety of educational needs .

My Project

Our students have many different needs . Many of our students are visual learners and need to see things for complete understanding . It is difficult to teach students about colors while only having black and white materials . It is hard for young children to visualize places and people all over the world without being able to learn about them in color. We would love to be able to print classroom materials , charts , homework assignments and stories in bright colors. Our students would be able to gain a better understanding learning in a more colorful classroom !
