Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are from very low socioeconomic backgrounds and school is a safe, fun place for them to come. Many of them also come from different cultural backgrounds and many of them are English Language Learners.

My students love to learn and come to school every day excited about what we will do each day.

They are very creative and love to think out loud about what we are learning. They love it when we are working together and are willing to work hard.

My Project

I am requesting ten color and black ink cartridges for our classroom printer. My students love to write and are learning how to type a paper on the computer. I want them to be able to be creative with their writing and have the ability to print their papers in our classroom. I am also creating many fun reading and math activities so that my students can learn and practice everything they need to know in second grade.

It would be great to have the ability to print off these activities in color so that they can better remember what they are learning.
