As a teacher at a Title I school, my students are faced with many challenges outside of the classroom. In 2016, our community was terrorized by a major flood. Many of these students lost their homes as well as everything they had. Some of these students are still feeling the impact of this flood by living in unfinished homes.
With all of the tragedy many of my students have endured, I want to be able to provide them with a learning experience that is both fun and engaging.
If I can do this, their learning experience will be very successful.
Our school has been hit hard with flu and other viruses this season. My students and I try to keep our area clean and germ-free by wiping down surfaces each day and by keeping our hands washed and sanitized. We are running very low on all of our supplies.
It is very important to have cleaning supplies that will help prevent the spreading of viruses in our classroom.
Students need to be able to come to school in order to succeed in their education. Unfortunately, we have had many absences due to the flu and other viruses.
If we are able to have the necessary cleaning supplies, we are able to help prevent these viruses from spreading further and students will be able to come to school. We will use these supplies to keep a nice, neat and sanitized learning environment.
