Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Kindergartens and their families have been really affected by the coronavirus pandemic. Some of them do not have the technology or resources to continue learning. In class, we are very hands-on in our learning, and since this happened it is hard to keep up through a web camera so I want to make the rest of their school year more fun and to resemble as close as possible to our class learning. I love meeting with my kids everyday and continue to make their days a little bit brighter during this hard times.
My Project
Kindergarten is a very important time for the kids, it is the foundation of their education. This pandemic has really affected our kids and families, and I want to provide my kids the tools to succeed and continue learning during this difficult time. I do daily online lessons through Microsoft Teams, I love seeing my kids but our learning time is not the same when we have to be apart and a lot of the things that we did in class are hard to do with online learning. I want to give some tools to make our learning more fun and interactive. The students will use the whiteboards, dry erase markers, and journals during our online lesson. The bubbles are for at home recess so they can also get to have some fun.
