This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are an amazing group of students in grades K, 1 and 2. They are all special needs with varying abilities! They work so hard throughout the school day and make my job so rewarding. Virtual learning has been a struggle for all of us but we are doing our best.

My Project

This course will help me better serve the students in my classroom. I will learn new strategies to teach synchronously and asynchronously. Through the assignments I will be able to collaborate with experts in this area and other teachers who are struggling along with me. This type of learning is new and sometimes confusing for teachers and students.

With this course I will also be able to mentor other teachers in my building and share the strategies I've learned with them.

We do our best to work together for the benefit of our amazing scholars!
