My Students

We are a Title I school where 81% of our babies receive free or reduced priced lunch and every child gets a free breackfast. Many of our students get a weekend bag of food. Many go to the after school program where the children get homework help and enrichment, dinner and a snack before they go home. Many also do the summer program or the mobile learning lab or both and they will get breakfast and lunch.

My students are true little sponges.

The children in first grade come to school excited to learn. They not only soak up what I am teaching but they are learning how we should treat and talk to people.

My Project

The 3 doodler will bring learning to life for these babies. All kids learn a lot through play but they will also retain it longer. What better way to teach 3-D shapes to students than to let them build their own. With the 3 doodler they will be able to see edges, sides, and vertices.

The 3 doodler will give their creative side an outlet.

With this tool they will be able to bring their creations to life. Students will be creating 3-D images to connect learning to real life experiences. These students do not have access to these type of innovated tools and they deserve to learn to the fullest.
