Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

In the 21st century, math, computer, and science skills are vital but resources can be expensive, and public schools across the country are struggling to stay up-to-date when facing budget cuts.

My goal is to make sure all my students have an equal shot at a great education by providing them with a variety of digital and hands-on lessons on a daily basis and to make sure that they also enjoy learning with a variety of resources.

My class has children from culturally, economically, and educationally diverse backgrounds. I want to provide them with stimulating lessons and access to resources that they cannot get without guidance. These resources will provide many learning experiences and lessons for them.

My Project

Distance learning may be challenging, but with these essential materials and tools, I am hoping to increase student engagement and provide high-quality instruction for all my scholars. I am excited to provide great new resources for them.

I use a lot of digital, easy to access, visually engaging resources.

I am always researching and creating new material for my class. Teachers Pay Teachers has an endless catalog of these useful creations to supplement my current ones.

I plan to teach lessons that will encourage excitement, foster depth of knowledge, and adjust to my students’ varying learning styles and needs.

In addition, my students will benefit from the pencil grips/clips to improve their penmanship. It’s been very challenging to correct their pencil grip techniques while we are in distance learning. Lastly, the mask lanyards are to encourage and foster social distancing/mask wearing. Having a lanyard will help them to keep their masks on and use them conveniently.
