My Project

In TK, students are learning is learned through play which is an educational approach that influences a child's natural tendency to play as a foundation for learning.
Learning through play involves students engaging in activities that are enjoyable and in a natural way to help motivate and allow children to explore, experiment, and develop various skills while having fun.
I am requesting Tuff tray stand (we already have a Tuff tray from a previous funded project), mini soccer balls, and soccer player dolls to teach my students how to play soccer through play. These items in my project will help promote tolerance when learning to play together in the classroom. This is so important especially when this is their first year in school for many of my students. I see many of them still having trouble socializing and getting along. We can also take the requested soccer balls outside to play soccer to keep students physically active and healthy.
