My Project
I am a certified severe special education teacher and teach a life skills based class for transition aged students (18-22). We work a lot both in the classroom and in the community and I am looking to help there in-class environment feel professional and inspiring. I am looking for snacks that are allergy-friendly to make sure students are not worried about being hungry (snack-box). I always am working to teach about how to maintain a clean space and clean up after yourself including vacuuming, laundry and wiping down surfaces (cleaning wipes). Lastly, since we are an adult based program, I would prefer to have more professional seating options like having office chairs for the classroom and to be able to get rid of some of our old ones that are very dirty.
