Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The whisper phones will allow each student to self edit papers at an appropriate voice level. They will learn that the writing process has multiple drafts and phases and they will get to hear what their own writing sounds like.
The pencils and erasers will be given to students as prizes for excellence in academics.
Giving out pencils will allow them to be more prepared for class and ready for the rigors they will face in the classroom.
Students need to know that learning can be fun. With this project, students will have the tools they need to engage fully in the learning process.
The books will also allow them to read and improve at home, which is so important for overall literacy skills.
