Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am a first grade teacher in Progreso, Texas . It is a small city that only has a population of five thousand, five hundred and seven. The majority of the students that attend my class have a low economic background. Although my students encounter many challenges every day, they come to school willing to learn and demonstrate to the world that they can succeed.

My students do not let any obstacles define their future.

They know that their determination to succeed will let them accomplish everything they set their hearts to do.

I want to reward my students with a fun-filled summer bucket with items such as sunglasses, coloring books, colors, water floats and many more things. These items will bring excitement and joy, exploration and learning after a long and successful school year. My students have shown so much growth in all of the following areas: Reading, Math, Science, and Social Studies.

What better way to end their first-grade year than with these fun-filled memorable buckets!
