Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach special education students from extremely low-income families. My class is mild/moderate SDC class for Kinder/1st grade. Many of my students are English learners and half of my students are Autistic. These hands on supplies are very engaging and will allow a lot of great learning.

My student's are in kindergarten and 1st grade and range from age 5 to 7.

I teach an SDC (Special Day Class) special ed. class. My students have various learning disabilities including autism and intellectual disabilities. My students are from a very low income area and many of them are also English learners.

My Project

I am requesting Bingo games that will allow students to identify numbers and rhyming words in print. In addition there are match-up puzzles that help students learn rhyming words and beginning sounds. There are also magnet builders that allow students to build and play in a creative way.

You can make a real difference in the lives of these special needs students.

These supplies can be used year after year to help improve student's learning. Your help will ensure that my students have the best possible opportunity to learn communication skills and gain valuable pre-literacy skills.
