My Students

My students are a beautiful, vibrant, and vivacious group of kindergarteners on Staten Island. They come from a variety of needs, languages, and cultural backgrounds. Our school is a Title I funded school, meaning we are provided extra funding to excel in academic achievement.

Since it’s my students first time stepping into a classroom due to the pandemic, I know they’re resilient and will have a great year given the proper materials!

My students need a bookshelf and hands on sensory learning materials for the classroom. They need to learn how to work together, engage with one another in a positive manner, and most importantly READ! Due to social setbacks from the COVID-19 lockdown, this is their first time in the classroom.

Please help my students by donating to gather materials and promote emotional and social development!

My Project

Please help encourage K01 to develop their reading and math skills by assisting us in creating our center activities as well as our own book nook where students pick out books and read comfortably.

Any contributions would be appreciated to also help us continue to create an engaging learning environment for our classroom.

These materials will promote the development of reading and social skills, allowing students to thrive in our nurturing classroom environment. The bookshelves will help to complete our classroom library where my students will be able to start book shopping. This will aid in their beginning journey of learning how to read. The activities and games will be used during center time which we have as an engaging and interactive approach to furthering their learning in ELA and math. The students of K01 will be excited and glad to have such wonderful additions to our class!
