This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year is my students' first "normal" year of school. As COVID restrictions are being lifted and it becomes safe to do so, I would like to give my students the opportunity to come together as a class. Our school offers a bilingual program and each of my students comes from a Spanish speaking household. Bilingual pairs is a huge part of our activities and certain materials make for a more collaborative experience!

I am asking for a reading rug and whiteboards so that my students are able to work in small groups as well as a whole group.

These materials make for a more dynamic and engaging earning environment!
