Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have a dual language virtual classroom full of energetic boys and girls from places all over the world! My students' heritage come from Puerto Rico, Italy; India, or the Philippines, to name a few. I have children with ADHD, learning disabilities, or speech impediments and I make sure that no one can tell the difference between my students. I treat them all the same and have lessons to meet each one's individual capability without making them feel different. We are a family.

My Project

My students are all meeting daily virtually. Getting these learning materials into each child's hands will allow for everyone to be on the same page. Imagining each child with the same tools to learn, while watching each other on the screen gets me excited.

Each child will take turns being the leader of the letter or number game!

All the children will feel proud of taking turns as a result of having enough games for each student. Learning through play is my favorite way to teach children the essentials in preschool. Letters and numbers are just the beginning!
