My Students
My students come into kindergarten at all different levels, but at the end of the year they leave my room with the skills they need to be successful in 1st grade.
My students enter their first year of school in my room and providing them the space to learn and grow both academically and individually is a key part of job.
My students are eager learners they love challenge their minds. Being in Hawaii my students learn to be open to meeting new friends and becoming life long learners together.
My Project
Flexible seating has been proven to help students learn and grow. My students will be able to choose where they learn best and find a place where they can concentrate and complete work. By allowing my students the choice of where they would like to sit each day, I give them the opportunity to be responsible for their own learning.
By funding our project students will be inspired to learn again in the kindergarten classroom.
Students will see that learning can be fun again. Kidney tables allows for me to have small group instruction with my students to help them learn and grow. The various chairs; balancing ball, inflatable chair and numbered sit spots allows my students the chance to pick a seat where they learn best. Every child learns in a different way and flexible seating allows students to now learn from a NEW SEAT! :)
