Flexible seating has been proven to help students learn and grow. My students will be able to choose where they learn best and find a place where they can concentrate and complete work. By allowing my students the choice of where they would like to sit each day I give them the opportunity to be responsible for their own learning. By funding our project students will be inspired to learn again in the kindergarten classroom. Students will see that learning can be fun again. Kidney tables allows for small group instruction to take place for individualized instruction. Rocker chairs and wobblers, as well as stools are great for flexible seating choices. Every child learns in a different way and flexible seating allows for some students to stand, sit, kneel, or complete work where best suits them.
