I teach French and my students are mostly students who love the French language. They come from many different cultures and socioeconomic groups. They make me laugh on a daily basis. They are thoughtful, fun, and sometimes annoying. Overall, I really love them all!
My Project
My French students are currently using an outdated textbook which has limited online materials. I would like all of my students to have access to learning the French language and culture through a teaching method called Comprehensible Input. This method focuses more on language exposure (listening to and reading the language) and less on grammar. It aligns with our new California World Language standards and with the National ACTFL (American Council of Teachers of Foreign Language) standards. The Voces Digital online textbook with support learning French with the Comprehensible Input method.
