My students are kindergartners, each of them with their own unique personality, and style of learning. In my class we explore reading, writing, math, and other core subjects.
But we also take time to build relationships with each other and focus on how we can help each other grow with respect.
We take time to learn through dance and catchy songs for our brain to remember.
Kindergartners are such a fun group to teach. They love to learn and every day is exciting!
My Project
Entering into my third year of teaching, I have been impressed with the mission and vision of The Ron Clark Academy, located in Atlanta, Georgia. I share the belief with Clark that in order to really meet the physical, educational, social, and emotional needs of the students we serve, it takes collaboration and cooperation from home and school. I would be able to experience the proven methods that have made Ron Clark Academy students successful. Then I can bring my new-found knowledge into all the subjects I teach like reading, writing, math, science, and social studies.
As an educator, I am willing to put forth the hours to grow my craft to ensure my students get a quality education.
Attending this training will help me transform my teaching style and help me find my footing in making my classroom a great learning environment!
