My Students
Fourth grade is a huge year for kids to grow and explore the world. My students are extremely curious and kind humans who love to learn about others and the world. They love to use hands-on materials to understand difficult concepts and to problem solve. Within my classroom, we have over a dozen languages and cultures represented. Our classroom diversity provides an amazing environment for us all to learn from each other every day. As a community, we strive to think critically and treat one another with respect and kindness! It is essential that we have the community materials we need to learn and grow together.
My Project
These learning basics will be used throughout the day to support and encourage every student! Students will use the black pens for writing. The dry erase pens will be used during math and reading lessons to allow students to try out their ideas at the carpet or during partner time. Students will use the pencils to track thinking during book clubs, math work time, and science. We will use the timers to set reading and writing goals and support productive independent time.
I believe these learning essentials will make a huge impact on my students' learning every day!
