My Project

As an art educator, I have the privilege of teaching over 800 young artists! All children, ages 4-12, come to art class with unique developmental needs. Each one deserves to have an engaging, inspiring, and supportive learning environment where they can thrive!

My goal for this project is to secure funding for a classroom rug that will allow me to create a more organized classroom environment to foster students' visual literacy and overall engagement.

It may only be a rug, but it will make such a significant and positive impact on student learning. This rug will serve as a gathering place for both small group and whole group instruction. It will also be used to develop visual literacy by identifying colors and shapes. In a world full of visual information, developing visual literacy is essential to successfully navigating the world!

With your help, I can provide students with a more supportive and organized learning environment that will foster their growth and development. Any donation that you can provide would be greatly appreciated by hundreds of young artists for years to come. Thank you!
