Learning English will be easy peasy with an EASEL!
My students need an easel to display new vocabulary, visuals, books, and anchor charts!

My Students
My students come from a variety of different economic and cultural backgrounds. In my classroom alone, students speak a multitude of languages including Urdu, Bengali, Mandarin, Chinese, Pashto, Polish, and Arabic. As diverse as our students are economically and culturally, they are diverse in their academic needs as well. We are a self- contained, ENL (english as a new language) classroom, made of the most eager and wide-eyed 5 year olds!
My 25, eager-minded, ENL kindergarteners sit at our meeting anxiously waiting for the "show" to begin.
It's one of their favorite times of their day. Listening, watching, reading, and discussing the different characters, events, and connecting real-life examples through concepts being taught.
My Project
ENL students learn best through the use of visuals and hands on experiences. With an easel, my students would be able to physically feel the books we are reading and easily look at the pictures/words. New vocabulary can be introduced and visuals can be easily seen on the easel. Having an easel will benefit all of my ENL learners who struggle with new vocabulary. Being able to see the visuals and associate it with a word, will help my students develop the English language in a more efficient and effective manner.
Keeping 25, 5 year olds, engaged and actively learning can be a difficult task, but having an easel will make learning easy peasy!
