My Project

I am an English as a Second Language teacher in an urban school. With these games and activities to use in my classroom, the students can practice essential English skills to become more fluent in the language.

The four key components of English are reading, writing, speaking and listening.

All of these activities will allow my students to practice each of these skills to help them become proficient English speakers.

Games are a great way to help bring English to life in the classroom. My students will not even realize that they are practicing and learning key skills they will use every day. Also, with games, the students get to practice essential social skills needed to have meaningful relationships with other students.
