This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Onion and animal slides bring science to life by providing a hands-on visual and comparative learning experience that will fuel my student's curiosity, deepen their understanding and make the subject more exciting. Observing onion and animal slides under a microscope allows my students to actively engage in the learning process.
These visuals will help my students understand complex cell structures in a way that is difficult to grasp from diagrams alone.
These slides will help my students connect what they learn in the classroom to the real world and will increase their engagement.
Providing my students with access to colored pencils, colored markers, and dry-erase supplies can significantly expand their imagination and creativity. In group activities, my students can use these tools to collaborate more effectively by brainstorming visually. These tools will empower them to bring their ideas to life and engage in more dynamic, creative thinking.
