Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are so strong. There is so much that happens outside of the classroom that they have no choices or control over. They handle it as best as they can. When they come to my classroom, I hope to always provide them with choices and quality items. They are learning how to regulate their feelings, bodies, and actions.
My students love coming into my classroom because it's unlike any classroom they had previously been in.
Through flexible seating they have found a safe space to practice making choices. I take pride in providing them a place they feel it's okay to make mistakes and learn more about the world, and themselves and that is why I am requesting the Flex Space Wobble Chair and Independent Work Space Bundle.
