Help me give my students a life science learning experience they will never forget! These items will allow my students to watch the full life cycle of chicks, butterflies, and lady bugs.
My class is full of children with tons of energy, dreams, individual needs and an excitement for learning. My little ones enjoy jumping into their learning just as much as I do. We stay busy all day long in hopes that we can meet our learning goals by the end of the school year.
Our class works hard to form lifelong friendships while supporting each other's individuality.
They each live very different lives but when they walk into our classroom they all have the same goal... to learn and grow and dream!
My Project
Instead of just reading about it or watching a video to show the life cycle, with the requested material: egg incubator, books, Lady bug insect house and butterfly larve net, the kids will see eggs turn into real living things. These tools will provide a learning experience the kids will never forget! The life cycle will be experienced from beginning to end right in front of their eyes.
I can't wait to watch their curiosity grow as they watch these animals hatch from their eggs!
Children learn better in a hands on way, what better way to bring life science to life. With these materials we will be able to watch butterflies, lady bugs, and chicks hatch inside of our classroom! We will also have resources to help us learn as the insects/animals grow and hatch. The incubator, books, and science materials will really add to their learning experience!
