Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The students in my classroom have a variety of levels as well as needs. The most effective instruction is through small groups geared to the children's level and needs.
I aim to create high-interest, independent learning centers for my students to keep them engaged while teaching small groups.
Offering concrete materials to help solidify skills as well as keep the children captivated to keep them on task while working independently. The children have enjoyed the materials I already have, so I am encouraged to build upon the success with a variety of other hands-on materials.
BrainPOP Jr. is a fabulous resource to help deliver the material to students. The children enjoy the videos and are learning concepts at the same time.
The step ladder is for my safety while I continue to decorate the classroom with the students’ masterpieces!
