This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This year, I am working with my students to provide more independent hands on learning centers to promote excitement for learning in all subject areas. I have 8 bright and creative kiddos that learn in their own unique way in my strategies classroom who all need support in these subject areas. This includes reading, writing, phonics, comprehension, math, fine motor skills and sensory play.
With these manipulatives for reading, math, fine motor skills, and sensory play my students will receive hands- on learning that is engaging to them while promoting independence.
They will find the excitement for learning by having the educational math and reading games and many more subject area manipulatives. This will provide hands-on learning centers that will give my students the opportunity to get up and move around from center to center. My goal with these learning center manipulatives is to provide the students with hands-on resources that will help them become independent and have confidence in their own ability to learn.
