My Project
My students will use the learning centers to work cooperatively with classmates. These learning centers will help them develop primary reading skills and basic number sense. They will use the centers daily as part of their small group rotations to reinforce skills introduced during instruction.
These learning centers will allow students to engage in purposeful practice of standard based skills.
The ELA learning centers will help my students practice their phonemic awareness and phonics skills. The Math learning centers will allow my students to become proficient in basic number sense and build fluency in addition/subtraction. Students will work on these learning centers for 20-30 minutes per day. The learning centers will make a difference in the lives of my students as it will help them build confidence and stamina.
