Learning Centers Rock!

My students need math and reading center games. The pop and add apples game is so engaging for students to practice addition. Squeeze, scoop, and count makes math fun with ice cream!

My Students

My students are enthusiastic and eager to learn. I open my door each morning to their shouts of "Yeah!". Many of these students come from homes without internet or computers.

I would like to provide these amazing children more opportunities to learn and understand technology.

My hope is that with these increased learning opportunities, it may translate into a career in technology on our island in the future.

I would also like to focus on social learning opportunities through centers and working in groups. This will help them gain the skills needed in the future to be successful.

My Project

Math and reading center games engage students in practice and also give them opportunities to work with their peers. Learning should be fun, and when it is, students will be all in.

Pop & Add to 20 game will have the students practicing addition and writing numbers.

Fishing for sightwords will allow them to practice learning their sight words while having fun with their peers. Scooping ice cream with their friends will help them practice counting skills.

Learning centers not only foster good social skills and cooperation but gives them fun and engaging ways to practice new skills. My goal is to provide a fun and engaging classroom for my students.
