My Project
Help me purchase highly needed instructional resources from Teachers Pay Teachers (TPT) to help my scholars soar! I am requesting funds to purchase digital content created by other passionate teachers like myself to help create fun and engaging learning experiences to expand my scholars depth of inquiry.
My students love to learn and dive deeper into how to apply and extend their knowledge above and beyond textbook lessons!
TPT funds will be used to purchase math intervention activities and skills assessment tools to support my scholars' mastery of foundational math skills so they can build confidence as complex thinkers and mathematicians. I will also utilize TPT funds to create a variety of self-directed learning centers so my scholars can play interactive learning games with each other, and explore hands-on inquiry centers to support core content subjects. Additionally, I can purchase project based learning units to help us take our knowledge to a whole new level of real-life application. When students have multiple opportunities to practice newly acquired skills through social interaction, physically movement, and creative exploration, they can make personal connections to our core content and deepen the learning experience.
Working at a public charter school allows teachers like me to be creative in content selection and allow student choice and voice in the decision making process when deciding how and what they want to learn about. A gift card to Teachers Pay Teachers will allow me to offer greater variety in choice for our project based learning units, interventions, and learning centers without having to weigh the additional personal time and financial impact planning and preparing amazing resources for my students often involves.
