Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I would like to provide my students with materials that will support their learning during break times. Offering these resources during our breaks will aid in their development. My students’ minds are like sponges, and I want to help them absorb as much information as possible and enhance their communication skills with their classmates, even for those who are nonverbal or multilingual learners.

Educational games and materials are crucial for developing fine motor skills in children, which are essential for a wide range of academic, self-care, and life skills.

By engaging in playful activities like stringing beads, making craft items, building with blocks, cutting with scissors, and manipulating small objects, children strengthen the small muscles in their hands and fingers. This improved dexterity and hand-eye coordination directly supports the ability to perform everyday tasks such as buttoning a shirt, tying shoelaces, and using eating utensils.
