My Project
Our language arts program is divided into eight themes throughout the year (family, weather, living things, maps, etc.). Teaching students centered around a theme allows me to weave science and social studies into reading, writing, and math. Kids learn best this way.
Focused themes keep students engaged!
When instruction is centered around a theme, students continue learning even when a direct lesson is not being taught.
