My Project

Research shows that preschoolers learn through play and discovery, by interacting with people and materials in their environment.

The children in my classroom are learning basic social skills, how to be responsible, basic physical skills, communication skills, and academic skills.

Shelves are needed to create centers where this learning happens. Light tables give children the opportunity to discover new ideas and provide accessibility for students with vision impairments. Dramatic play materials connect play to ‘real’ life situations, creating an opportunity for skill development and deeper understanding.
